Monash University: English test requirements
Monash sets English scores by Level A to F. Level A is the standard minimum on its admissions page; some courses, mainly in nursing and other health or professionally accredited fields, need a higher level stated on the course page. Tests may need faculty approval for some applicants.
Checked on 31 Oct 2026 against the university's own pages. Universities change their requirements, and some courses ask for more. Always confirm on the university's page before you book a test or apply.

Monash places each course in an English Level from A to F and the course page's English requirements section states the level; most courses sit at Level A, the minimum on the admissions page. Levels B to F are used mainly by health, education and other professionally accredited courses. For applicants without six years of English-medium schooling before age 19, the English measure must be within three years of starting; the highest result within that period is used.
