Drexel University: English test requirements
Drexel lists the English tests it approves for first-year applicants but prints no minimum scores on the admissions pages we could read. Graduate English requirements are set by each programme in a search tool that does not show them in the page text.
Checked on 31 Oct 2026 against the university's own pages. Universities change their requirements, and some courses ask for more. Always confirm on the university's page before you book a test or apply.

The page names the approved tests but gives no minimum score for any of them. Applicants whose first language is not English, and who have not had three full years of instruction in English, must submit one of these tests. Exemptions include three years at a high school taught in English, or SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing of at least 600, or ACT English of at least 27.

Optional
Drexel calls this No Harm Test-Optional: scores that do not strengthen an application are left out of the review. Applicants to the BA/BS+MD Early Assurance programme must submit SAT or ACT scores.
“Drexel practices No Harm Test-Optional admission, meaning applicants are not required to submit standardized test scores”
Other tests the university lists
- SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 600 or ACT English 27 (exemption from the English test)
“Not on the list” means the test does not appear on the university page we checked. It does not mean the test is refused: the course page or the admissions office may still accept it, so ask them.
