Acadia University: English test requirements

Undergraduate applicants meet one set of minimums with a wide list of tests, including Duolingo. Graduate Studies sets its own, higher minimums for tests taken from 21 January 2026, does not accept Duolingo, and notes some programmes ask for more.

Checked on 2 Nov 2026 against the university's own pages. Universities change their requirements, and some courses ask for more. Always confirm on the university's page before you book a test or apply.

Admissions requirements for international students: English requirements

Graduate

Graduate minimums changed for tests taken from 21 January 2026; older tests are judged on the earlier scores. Some programmes require higher scores, so applicants should check with the programme's Graduate Advisor. Conditional admission without the required score is possible only in the MSc programmes in Computer Science, Geology, Environmental Science and Mathematics; for all others the requirement must be met when applying.
