Booth is open and admitting for 2026/27. Undergraduate applicants meet one set of scores (TOEFL, IELTS, CAEL or PTE), and the MBA asks for higher ones. Duolingo is not on either list.

Undergraduate
Applicants who are not Canadian citizens or permanent residents show proficiency by a test or an approved waiver (for example ten years of residence in Canada, three years of Canadian schooling, or IB Higher Level or AP English at grade 4 or higher). Applicants from a listed group of countries receive a waiver. Applicants who fall short can complete the Pathway 2 course at Heartland International English School. Official results must be sent to Booth; the TOEFL code is 7951.
