Leeds Arts University: English test requirements

Leeds Arts University sets one English requirement for all undergraduate courses and a higher one for all postgraduate courses, each published on its entry requirements page. IELTS is the main test, with LanguageCert, PTE, Cambridge, Oxford and several other tests listed as alternatives; TOEFL and Duolingo are not mentioned.

Checked on 2 Nov 2026 against the university's own pages. Universities change their requirements, and some courses ask for more. Always confirm on the university's page before you book a test or apply.

  • LanguageCert IESOL: B2 Communicator with at least 38 in each component
  • International Baccalaureate and European Baccalaureate English (undergraduate)

  • Study Group and INTO International Foundation Programme English modules (undergraduate)

“Not on the list” means the test does not appear on the university page we checked. It does not mean the test is refused: the course page or the admissions office may still accept it, so ask them.
