Indiana University Bloomington: English test requirements
IU Bloomington publishes undergraduate admission scores for a wide list of tests, including PTE, but publishes no central graduate scores because each department sets its own. Admitted students then face a second, higher English check before starting classes.
Checked on 31 Oct 2026 against the university's own pages. Universities change their requirements, and some courses ask for more. Always confirm on the university's page before you book a test or apply.

No central scores are published. Each department sets its own admission requirements and application deadlines, so scores are on the department page. The English proficiency page says a department may require TOEFL regardless of where the applicant was educated.
The scores for this level are set course by course. The tests below are the ones the university lists; check the exact scores on your course page (course finder).
