University of California, Los Angeles: English test requirements
UCLA frames its undergraduate English scores as the competitive range it looks for rather than a hard minimum, and accepts TOEFL, IELTS and Duolingo. Graduate admission accepts only TOEFL and IELTS with stated minimums, and programmes may require more. UCLA does not consider SAT or ACT scores.
Checked on 31 Oct 2026 against the university's own pages. Universities change their requirements, and some courses ask for more. Always confirm on the university's page before you book a test or apply.
