One TRU World page sets the English scores per programme group. The figures below are for direct entry to academic study; lower scores can still lead to admission through TRU's English for Academic Purposes (EAP) levels. Master's programmes do not accept Duolingo.

Scores shown are for direct entry into academic programmes. Students below them can enter EAP at Level 3, 4 or 5 according to their scores (for example current TOEFL 80 for Level 5 and 71 for Level 4), and all sub-scores must meet the level. Applicants from listed English-speaking countries do not need a test, though some programmes still want a B or better in recent English courses.

Graduate
Each graduate programme has its own TOEFL, IELTS and PTE table; programmes with identical scores are grouped here. Instead of a test, applicants may show an undergraduate degree from an English-language university in a country where English is the first official language, or TRU ENGL 1100 or 1101 and CMNS 1290 or 1291 at B or better.
