Trinity Western University: English test requirements
Undergraduate applicants have one set of minimum scores. Graduate applicants have a general set and a slightly lower set for the MBA, MA Leadership and MA in Educational Studies; many graduate programmes set higher scores of their own, so check the programme page.
Checked on 2 Nov 2026 against the university's own pages. Universities change their requirements, and some courses ask for more. Always confirm on the university's page before you book a test or apply.

Test results are valid for two years from the test date and must be submitted with the application. The page lists eight ways to meet the requirement, including TWU's own English pathways (U1 and the Trinity Language Centre), three consecutive years of English-medium study in Canada or an approved country, and set grades in AP, IB, GCSE O-Level or post-secondary English courses. Applicants who qualify academically but fall short on the test may enter through the Trinity Language Centre; completing level 5 replaces the test.

Graduate
The table gives a general graduate set and a lower set for the MBA, MA Leadership and MA in Educational Studies. The page says many graduate programmes set higher individual minimums, so the programme page should be checked. Exemption is possible after three consecutive years of full-time English-medium post-secondary study in Canada, the US or a listed country, or in an internationally recognised English curriculum in several listed African countries.
