University of Winnipeg: English test requirements

One university-wide English Language Requirement Policy sets the minimum scores. The graduate calendar applies the same university policy to graduate applicants but warns that some programmes add their own requirements.

Checked on 2 Nov 2026 against the university's own pages. Universities change their requirements, and some courses ask for more. Always confirm on the university's page before you book a test or apply.

Graduate

The graduate calendar says graduate applicants must meet the university's official English language policy, so the figures here are taken from that policy PDF. It adds that some programmes set extra, programme-specific English requirements, so applicants should check each programme page.

Other tests the university lists

  • University of Winnipeg English Language Program: successful completion of Academic Level 5
  • AEPUCE (Academic English Program for University and College Entrance): successful completion

“Not on the list” means the test does not appear on the university page we checked. It does not mean the test is refused: the course page or the admissions office may still accept it, so ask them.
