University of Warwick: English test requirements
Warwick places every course in an English language band (A to C for undergraduate, A to D for postgraduate) and gives a score for each accepted test per band. The course page says which band applies. Tests must be no more than two years and one month old at the course start.
Checked on 31 Oct 2026 against the university's own pages. Universities change their requirements, and some courses ask for more. Always confirm on the university's page before you book a test or apply.

Each degree is placed in Band A, B or C; the Language Requirements header on the course page says which. If you have more than one test, only the most recent is accepted. Applicants who need a visa and meet the band with an accepted test do not need extra evidence for the visa, according to the page.

Postgraduate accepted English language tests
Other tests the university lists

The page says these are not accepted
- IELTS One Skill Retake
- TOEFL MyBest scores
- TOEFL iBT on paper (postgraduate)
- PTE Academic Online (postgraduate)
- Duolingo results without individual component scores
“Not on the list” means the test does not appear on the university page we checked. It does not mean the test is refused: the course page or the admissions office may still accept it, so ask them.
