University of Queensland: English test requirements
UQ has a standard minimum (IELTS 6.5 overall, 6.0 in each band) for most programs and a published list of programs that need more. Scores for other tests come from UQ's own policy tables. UQ recognises TOEFL iBT only with section scores on the 1-30 scale.

Undergraduate and postgraduate coursework
UQ sets one standard (IELTS 6.5, no sub-band below 6.0) for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework and publishes a list of programs that need more, in its policy Table 1; programs are grouped below by the score Table 1 gives them. Test scores for other tests come from Table 3. Tests must be taken within two years of starting.
