Liverpool John Moores University: English test requirements
LJMU publishes one set of minimum English standards for all courses and says individual courses may ask for more. The Duolingo English Test is accepted only at higher equivalent scores and not from countries that require a SELT.

Applicants from Pakistan
LanguageCert, Pearson Versant and Oxford ELLT are not accepted from students from Pakistan. The page says: “The university does not accept Language Cert, Pearson Versant or ELLT for students from Pakistan.”

Duolingo is not accepted from applicants from countries that require a Secure English Language Test. The page does not list which countries. The page says: “We do not accept Duolingo English test from students that are from countries that require a SELT.”
Applicants from India
Standard XII English at 70% or above from CBSE and CISCE is accepted; four State Boards (Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka) at 70% or above. Validity: six years (national boards), two years for undergraduate State Board results.
Applicants from Nigeria
NECO or WAEC (WASSCE) grade C6 in English with no time limit; Nursing (BSc and MSc) needs grade C5.
