Illinois Institute of Technology: English test requirements
Illinois Tech prints one set of English scores for undergraduates and one for graduate applicants on a single page. Applicants who fall short may be offered conditional admission after an intensive English programme.
Checked on 31 Oct 2026 against the university's own pages. Universities change their requirements, and some courses ask for more. Always confirm on the university's page before you book a test or apply.

Undergraduate
Applicants may be asked to take extra English assessment even if they meet the minimum. TOEFL and IELTS scores are valid for two years from the test date (the page says nothing about Duolingo expiry) and the TOEFL Home Edition is accepted. Applicants below the minimum may be offered conditional admission. The PTE is not named.

Graduate
The graduate figures are printed on the same international undergraduate page under 'English Proficiency Requirement for GR'. Programmes may set their own scores; I read no separate graduate admissions page. The TOEFL Home Edition is accepted.
